Lonely Petals

Intense pink swirl

in the eyes of a stem;

beauty magnified.

Each curve, slender & soft

to the touch.

A hint of cinnamon can

be detected.

Short, paced, sniffs.

lonely petals living

on a deserted bush.

Where have all the other

flowers gone?

Away for the season.
