The low hum of people all around. Talk, read, murmur, giggle, turn pages. Blowing air from the A/C inside. A dull but warm sun through the windows, humid hot air outside.

My stomach wants food, badly. I should have eaten today.

I’m re-learning workloads and re-learning patience and re-learning my limits. I can only do so much after all, and I’m learning to be OK with that again.

I’m enjoying the calm, I’m officially “unavailable” for these last fifteen minutes … OK, I can give you ten minutes. What’s it supposed to be about?
