Dancing in the Rain

They stood there at the window, noses pressed to the glass, grumbling about it being cold, wet, dreary, and depressing. The general mood among them was dismal, at best.

Yet there she stood in the back of the room with a smile on her face. She was near giddy, as she slipped out unnoticed.

A few seconds later one in the group gasped.

“What’s she doing? Has she lost her mind?”

The smiling girl looked up to the window where the others were standing and waved. Then proceeded to dance in the rain … It was a glorious day.
