The Citizenship Conundrum

This desert. Divided into halves, one North and the other South, sharing rivers and deserts, those true borders. And yet we are contained by borders drawn by men, meaningless lines on a map; meaningless, because the natural inhabitants do not care where they live, nor about those borders drawn by men. They do what they please, unlike men — the men who draw the border, the border between the Us and the Them, the border between English and Spanish, the border between man and his brother.
