Debris

Every young brave from here to the whitecaps of Exceptional Mountains knows the Legend of Burning Clouds. He was a warrior who lured away an entire regiment from Fort Macklin on a fake trail in appalling weather conditions, snow drifts taller than a tree, while his people escaped to the land of their ancestors.

What became of Burning Clouds and the raw recruits? Well, there were unconfirmed reports of them all being seen at a country dance and hog roast near Killenhoe the following spring and of them running a daycare center for gifted horses down near the border.
