When I think about tomorrow
and what that day for me might bring,
I get no thoughts that I can reconcile;
I guess it’s just one of those things.
It’s easier to live life in the here and now,
a perfect life my wife and me.
I’ve seen it happen far too many times;
time keeps creeping up on me.
What goes up must always come back down.
(I take no comfort in this truth.)
Show me something that can’t be explained—
something only God can do.
