First love. High school sweethearts. The whole bit. Sometimes joked they shared a brain: Even bought each other the same Christmas gift—three times! One year it was tennis rackets. Ha! That was a laugh. (At least they were still having sex then.) Then it was iPads, which were cool – But! She left hers at the beach, he lost his charging cord and didn’t bother looking for it. Last year it was a book. Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus.
Most human beings today waste some 25 to 30 years of their lives before they break through the actual and conventional lies which surround them.

Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus is a book about understanding our differences so we can co-exist.

are you saying people get divorced because they are different?

Good story, although sad. It’s heartbreaking to hear of long-time relationships ending. People do change over the years, and hopefully, the two individuals evolve together. Sometimes, they grow apart. Fortunately, my husband and I are still happy and going strong while about to reach our 29th. 🙂

Pretty sure that Mars/Venus thing is what brings men and women together in the first place but you’re right, after years or decades, it can also drive them apart.
