By Bruce Levine
Where is there?
I read that and it made me think –
Where is here?
But then –
Where is there?
Or where was there?
Or where was here?
Then I started to think
of other permutations
and other variations on the theme …
Of course there’s –
Where was I?
Or where am I?
I imagine that,
if I put my mind to it,
I could continue coming up
with derivatives for quite some time …
Then again –
Where would it get me?
Where would I be?
Am I here?
Am I there?
Where is there?
Bruce Levine writes, he says, “to answer questions presented by my soul.”
Yep, nice conundrum that absorbs thought and time. It’s neither here or there, I wonder why?
I enjoyed this snap thought process.
