Welcome to The Drabble, a site dedicated to publishing original fiction, non-fiction, and poetic works of 100 words or fewer. Find us on Facebook @drabblemag or on Twitter @the_drabble
Care to submit?
Submit your original drabble using our online submission portal. (Note: The title and by-line do not count against the 100-word submission limit.) If you’d prefer to remain anonymous, please indicate that in your submission. If you’re not yet entirely sure what drabble is, consider reading this post.
If you’re submitting something that you’ve already posted on your own blog, we ask that you please cut and paste the text into the body of your email. Please do not send links.
We look forward to reading you shortly (bad pun intended).
Thank you for liking the post World Poetry Day. I like short pieces and will submit shortly.

I’m delighted you visited my blog and liked my post–“Cultivating mindful presence: the artist’s task,” which included a wonderful essay by Mary Oliver on creative inspiration as well–because your doing so has led to my discovery of The Drabble. I love the concept. I’ve been reading the stories and am impressed by the authors’ ability to convey stories so well in so few words. I look forward to reading more.

What a great medium! I dislike using the overused word medium but it is just that. It’s own perfect beneficiary of it’s creation. I will go forth and drabble, share the drabble, praise the drabble! Thanks for the inspiration.
